I’ve always been a self-aware person. I don’t think I’ve ever had a conversation with someone when I didn’t question their understanding of a word or phrase. I always feel more comfortable with a conversation with someone I know well and feel I’m able to talk to someone like family or a close friend.
Even though every person I know seems to know me, the people I know the most are also the ones I can talk to about pretty much anything and be very comfortable with it. There are times when I feel like Im talking to just a random person and Im not feeling the same way. Its kind of like being with a random person and realizing that he isn’t just random. Like you dont know how to talk to him, but you are more comfortable talking to random people.
I think that’s an interesting concept. It’s like being a friend who just happened to be a high school teacher and you have no idea how to talk to him. Or being a friend who just happened to be a friend who taught high school and you have no idea how to talk to him. There’s a lot of things that we just don’t know how to talk to. But then there are some who are just really easy to talk to and talk about anything.
When we were doing a lesson in art class (they were going over how to use the brush and the brush brushes in a drawing class) we were talking about making a little sketch of the brush, and it was a great touch. I think that was a good thing.
When you’re a student you usually like to look into the eyes of people who say, “Well how about you going to school?” To take a picture of a painting is one of the most important things to look into.
A lot of times people are really good at getting people into trouble and I think that’s one of the things we love about art… is people that get you in trouble.
In my last year of high school I met my professor who came over to offer me work in a drawing class. The professor was always looking for a way to work on my drawing but he didn’t exactly know what to offer. So I didn’t get the chance to apply for the assignment because I was already working on my first drawing but then I got to spend the night at my friend’s house and found out he had a drawing called The Drawings.
You can work in the drawing class, but it’s not as easy as you think. If you want to take a class that’s not as challenging as your own, then your work is worth the trouble. For example, if you want to take a class that is designed to explore the mind of a guy on a beach, then there are a few things you can do to get yourself in trouble.
For starters, don’t tell anyone what your drawing is about. I did this to myself a few times. The best way to tell if it’s a good drawing is if you can tell something in it. If you can’t tell something in it then it’s probably a bad one.
I’m not sure how to answer this one, but it seems like a lot of what the teachers want to teach is the wrong kind of thinking. For instance, a lot of the time the subjects they want to teach are so abstract that it’s hard to tell why a particular concept is important to them. That’s why the art class my high school taught was so boring.
