I really am a huge fan of cramming for an exam, but I’m also not the type of person that is going to sit down in the middle of a busy work day and start taking notes. I’m not going to waste my time either. I’d rather just get through it.
That’s why I try to do them in batches. If you have to get through an exam on a certain day, maybe it’s not the best idea. If you can get through on a given day, you can find some time to study when you don’t have to cram.
I have a solution to this problem, but I have no idea how to implement it. I tried to use Google Groups, but my group is too big, and I wasn’t able to figure out a way to link to it from my blog, so I have to create my own group.

I also like to practice some of the subjects I learn on the go, it makes me more efficient about what I need to do. To me, the most important skill for an engineer is to be able to adapt what you learned in class to solve a new problem. But, I am not an engineer. I am a musician. You don’t have to think about what you’re going to study. You just have to learn it. The problem is that most online textbooks are terrible at teaching you how to do things.

They have to be quick to build a name for themselves, so the first thing they do is just cram themselves full of content. They have to cram the word count to the limit so that no one else can take a look at it. They have to spend hours designing every single page so that it looks professional from every angle.
The more advanced students in the class are usually the ones who are better than most, and most of them are better than the ones who aren’t. But this is just a fact and an indication that the average person is better than most.
Content is what gets people up in their face and screaming about how they can’t be wasting their time. The fact is, people who are good and accomplished at content (like people who get a good job) are also better than average, because they have to do it, so they’re more likely to get good grades at a good school.
Content is what sets you apart from other people. It’s what helps you make yourself stand out in the crowd. While we all have content-making abilities, the more skilled you are at it, the better you are at content.
