We attend a school for professional engineers and technologists. Our students are taught by professors who are passionate about their field and who are working in the industry. We have students that are from all over the United States and a few countries around the world.
I have to admit that I actually didn’t realize that there are a lot of people who go to this school. I just assumed it was a school for engineers or computer science students who wanted to learn about the technology industry. It’s not. Our students are there to learn about the technology of tomorrow, so they’re not going to be going off to build something cool for a while.
But why is it a party school? Is it just that we always get people coming from all over the world to come here? Or is it a school that is more of a social experience than just getting a degree? Because I think most people think of it as an engineering school.
Well, you can say that again. It’s more of a social experience than just getting a degree. In fact, many students take classes at the school on a voluntary basis.
The school is located in the beautiful Oregon Coast (not Oregon). It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. Oregon Coast University is a public research university in Portland, Oregon. The school was founded in 1969 and consists of four academic divisions: Business, Education, Engineering, and Health Sciences, and is a member of the Association of American Universities.
Yes, the college is pretty awesome. It is located on a gorgeous bluff of the Oregon Coast with a beautiful ocean in the background. It is also one of those public “seminars” where the school’s famous dean and current president are also in attendance. It’s like a college version of an I-don’t-give-a-shit-what-you-think-I-think-I-don’t-want-a-party-school.
The University of Oregon is not, in fact, an “university.” Yes, it is a public university, but it is an “academic” university. It is recognized by the state of Oregon as a private school. It is a member of the Association of American Universities.
It is not entirely a party school. The University of Oregon is a non-profit, and receives very little money from the state of Oregon. Its mission is to impart its knowledge and values to the public at large. It was founded in 1873 in Oregon near the Oregon-Idaho border by the “O” in oregon. Its current campus in Eugene is a relatively new addition to the campus.
The University of Oregon has a motto “Education Abroad,” and it is believed that Oregon State University is a private school. Oregon State University is a member of the Association of American Universities.
The only thing that’s not new to the campus is the name. Oregon State University is an American university. It’s been called Oregon State University, University of Oregon and Oregon State University for decades.
