In the world of post-apocalyptic America, post-apocalyptic police is a real job with real paychecks. That said, what I find most interesting is that the postmaster is not actually a police officer. He is one of the officers who is actually on duty in the post office and is the one who’s going to be doing all of the heavy lifting.
Ok, lets just get this out of the way right now: Officer of the day is one of my favorite things in the world. I love the idea of a post-apocalyptic police force with the most minimal, yet effective, uniform. They look like they should be real law enforcement, but they are not. They are the same uniform as everyone else in the post-apocalyptic world. It’s not the uniform that makes them police officers, they are the uniform.
For a while, the police force has been just like everyone else, but then they got the uniforms. The officers were like the regular-jacketed cops, but they were made to look like the officers in the uniform. Then everyone wore the same uniform as everyone else. It was like the world was being torn in half. It was like a cop’s uniform, but instead of a gun, it was a gun, and instead of a badge, it was a badge with an anchor.
The uniform was the first thing to go, after the uniforms. The uniforms have now been replaced by a more “normal” uniform with no anchor. While the uniforms have been replaced, the new normal uniform has no anchor. The only uniform that does is the uniform of the cop who is the same person in different uniforms.
I’m a cop too, and I’m in the same boat. It’s the uniform that has been replaced, but the anchor has been replaced with a badge that has an anchor. The only thing that has been replaced is the anchor.
The officers of the day are all civilians who have been tasked with enforcing the law in the areas of the city where the citizens are allowed to live. The law here is that everyone must live in a place you can’t get to, so the officers of the day go around arresting all of the citizens they see, and placing them in jail in the areas where the law does not apply.
